Wes-
This is the best thing you've ever written, and I mean that on many levels. Thanks for this. I'm really proud of you.

Hey wes,
[هذا هو الحكم]
hmm for some reason it chopped off my message... we should talk about this, accountiblog can only get us so far and i think there are issues (some pertaining to this) that we need to lovingly address within our group of friends. that and we just need to be generally uplifting and challenging in our faith to oneanother. I'm so freaking sick and tired of people being angry or frustrated or judgmental of other people. its so stupid and they are stupid for doing it. (sarcasticly synical for dramatic effects) love you man and i'm glad you took the time to put your thoughs down in writing.

I completely agree, Steve, but I'm talking about more than just our friends. I'm talking about most people that I know who are in our age group/generation. But you're right. We do need to lovingly address and encourage our friends to act.

Hey, I don't get it. I live cynical people who consume everything they get their hands on with out thought or worry. You so crazy.

Nice job Wes. The solution IMHO is action. Action based on faith.
Wes, my own path in life has not led me to the church.

Dallas Willard writes:

Now, some might be shocked to hear that what the “church” — the disciples gathered — really needs is not more people, more money, better buildings or programs, more education, or more prestige. Christ’s gathered people, the church, has always been at its best when it had little or none of these. All it needs to fulfill Christ’s purposes on earth is the quality of life he makes real in the life of his disciples. Given that quality, the church will prosper from everything that comes its way as it makes clear and available on earth the “life that is life indeed.”
